YOUTH & CHILDREN

Children and youth  are a vital part of PFUMC. By engaging even the youngest of our children and their families, we believe that kids can grow up to love God, love each other and change the World. We provide fun opportunities each Sunday morning during the school year to spark curiosity in the hearts and minds of kids and young adults, challenging them to explore God’s world.

We examine themes from creation, justice, friendship, love, joy, and the list goes on.

Senior High Youth

Our Senior High Youth are active in shining the light of Christ all around the community. They have plenty of opportunities to grow and share through Bible lessons, events, Field Trips, missions and games. Examples of past events include slip and slide kick Ball, 5th quarter fellowship and Hungry for Hope for Skyline Urban Ministries. They also attend camps and retreats during the summer, where they have the opportunity to deepen their faith and invest in their relationship with Jesus.

The youth room is a place where youth can escape the stressors of the world and engage in positive Christian Fellowship.

Tweens & Mid High Youth

United Methodist Youth Fellowship or UMYF is a great way to meet friends, grow in your faith and to experience what it is like to be a part of a church family! This program is geared mostly towards fellowship. It’s a laid-back kind of time where we learn about God together, invest in our relationships with each other, and best of all play some awesome games!
